 In Store Book Donations:

✔️ Eligible for Store Credit/Donations

Store credit may be offered for books that meet the following criteria:

• Intact spines, bindings, and covers
   
• Pages free of stains, odors, mold, mildew, or damage
   
• Current, in-demand titles or timeless favorites
   
• Editions suitable for resale in our shop
   

📌 Not all accepted donations qualify for store credit.

❌ Not Eligible for Store Credit

We will not accept:

• Dirty, sticky, or visibly soiled books
   
• Water-damaged or warped books
   
• Books covered with animal feces, spider webs, or urine
   
• Books with mold, mildew, or strong odors (smoke, pet, chemical, etc.)
   
• Books with missing pages, loose bindings, or significant wear
   
• Heavily marked or annotated books
   
• Outdated textbooks, manuals, encyclopedias, or reference materials
   
• Mass-market paperbacks in poor condition
   

Store Credit Details

• Eligible books will receive a fixed store credit amount, determined by staff based on condition, demand, and inventory needs.
   
• Store credit is applied to your store credit account.
   
• Store credit may be used to receive 25% off used books until the credit balance is depleted.
   
• Store credit does not apply to:
   
  • Vintage or collectible books
     
  • New books
     
  • Blind Dates with a Book
     
  • Games, puzzles, stationery, or other non-book merchandise
     
• Store credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
   

Important Notes

• We reserve the right to refuse any donation or store credit request at our discretion.
   
• Dropping off books does not guarantee acceptance or store credit.
   
• Once books are accepted, they become the property of the bookshop and cannot be returned.
   
• We may sell, donate, recycle, or otherwise responsibly distribute books at our discretion.
   
• Large quantities require prior approval.

No! We carry both new and used books as well as a variety of bookish treasures and stationery. We also carry new board games, miniatures, dice, and RPG manuals as well as trading card games. Stationery wise we have pens, journals, bookmarks, stickers, markers, and more!

We try to sell a littel bit of everything to keep our inventory interesting to all types of customers but there are a few categories that are always interesting to us:

• Current or relevant titles in good shape 
• Timeless Classics 
• Newer Cookbooks
• Bibles
• Graphic Novels 
• RPG Manuals (Like Dungeons and Dragons) 
• Newer Coffee Table Books
• Animal +Plant guides 
• Little Golden Guides (!!)
• YA Books
• Certain Vintage Books especially first editions!
• Fantasy Trade Paperbacks 
• Romance Trade Paperbacks 

and more! 

We also accept donations of:

• Newer or relevant Board Games in good condition
• Pokemon cards

What we generally are NOT looking for:

• Text books
• Outdated manuals
• Your entire Encyclopedia Brittanica collection (sorry) 
• Big old coffee table books
• Mass market paperbacks in tattered shape or by the truck load (please spare us)
• Anything covered in dirt, cobwebs, dead bugs, alive bugs, feces, or urine.
